Good. Bore darkly mottled, heavily oxidized with pitting and roughness. Muzzle with some dings and moderate wear. Metal with a somewhat mottled and oxidized mostly brown over gray patina. Metal with some scattered surface roughness, some scattered pitting and more moderate pitting around the breech area. Barrel with some vise marks at the breech. Touchhole oversized and probably re-drilled in the modern era. Markings remain mostly legible in metal, none in wood. Lock remains mechanically functional. Wood with moderate wear and sanded, showing a crack and some chipped loss forward of the lock mortise. Some old initials are carved in the obverse butt and applied with punch dots on the reverse butt. Wood with numerous scattered bumps, dings and mars and some minor chipped loss.
