The clock is presently disassembled and missing several screws or other fasteners required for assembly. The inner works appear intact; when the dial is manually rotated, the gears move and the hammer strikes the bell at occasional intervals. It has not been inspected or tested for timekeeping accuracy, and may require some repair by a horologist. The mounts are attractive and stable but there are additional gilt bronze garlands that are detached. The blue enamel hemispheres appear free of notable losses, but there are cracks and losses to some of the white enamel number dials. Some of the foliate arms on the candelabra are bent askew, and one is cracked (but remains attached due to an intact internal rod). Minor chips to the marble bases.
