Both are structurally sturdy. Marble tops with some discoloration, surface scratches, and negligible flake chips along the edges. Lifting to the brass inlay. The tortoiseshell appears to be synthetic. There are scattered losses to the inlay and age splits throughout. The astragal mount is lifting on one example. Same example with a detached escutcheon, present and could be reattached. The other example with a detached mount and section of brass inlay, but present and could be reattached. There are two height adjustable shelves inside. No key is present for the locks. Additional images available upon request.
