The painting is in overall good condition. The surface is soiled and would benefit from a light cleaning./ Examination under UV light reveals minor inpainting at bottom right and bottom center, along the right outer edge. All other spots coming up fluorescent are part of the composition, either accretions or pigments. There is some wear and associated loss at the edges of the board where it comes into contact with the frame, notably at top right. There is a white scuff at bottom left. Some craquelure is apparent, for instance in the figure's torso and legs. There are two spots of loss at the top center in the cloth above the figure's head.
