The unlined painting is in fair condition. There is craquelure throughout, particularly in the top and center, with some associated lifting of the pigment. There are at least two areas of surface loss, for instance in the bottom left of the plate, approx. 1/2 in. area and at top right in a few smaller areas. There is an area of pressure to the canvas at top left in the black around the plate. Under UV light, there does not appear to be restoration to the canvas. Additional images available upon request.
