In overall good condition. The paper is tightly affixed to the verso of the mat via four pieces of brown tape running along the four edges of the mat (verso). We notice some discoloration in the sky. Judging from the irregular, milky shapes left in the sky, we believe those have likely resulted from previous water damage. With a small paper loss at bottom right, at the extreme outer edge (in part covered by the mat): when examining the verso, we realize it was caused by a scratch that removed part of the tape as well (about 0 1/8 in. long). The work would need to be reframed as the lip isn't deep enough for the mat, and there is no backing board (which likely caused the scratch). Additional images available upon request.
