Some surface soiling throughout – for example, in crevices of ear. Scattered light scuff marks (both white and black), most noticeable on verso. See Specialist photos for details. There are a few spots of more significant white scuffing around date and signature on the underside. There is also a small linear abrasion with some associated loss above the face’s left orbit. Some scuffing and loss apparent along edges of rectangular cut-out. There is a long, thin piece of ceramic, approximately 2 inches long, inside the head.
