The pedestal is in good condition for age and use. It could be placed in its current condition. There are a couple of stable splits to the wood and small losses to the gesso throughout that are typical of age and do not detract from the overall presentation. The paint on the top has stable craquelure and nicks to the edges. The back of the pedestal has a modern replacement. Additional images available upon request.
