The armoire is in lovely condition, the finish is beautiful and the wood is richly grained. Including nine adjustable-height wood shelves and three keys. The lower portions of the applied 'X' decoration are loose on the proper right and center door panels, but are not in danger of detaching completely, and can easily be reinforced. There is an old repair to the upper door hinge on the proper left side of the cabinet, and an old area of reinforcement to one of the top panels (see images). Some of the hardware has been replaced. The shelves and associated brackets appear to be a recent addition. There are minor scuffs in select areas that are consistent with age and use and do not detract from the overall presentation.
