solid and sturdy, exhibiting a nice figuring to wood grain, with a very mild fading, mainly to base, but overall presents well; the cornice with a couple mends; a few drawer faces with occasional patches to edges / corners; back right-facing foot with break and detached piece (piece is present); some dark scuffing and scraping to right-facing side of base; the underside of base with old insect damage (but appears stable); some shrinkage cracks to side panels, a couple with some fill; the brasses appear to be original / period
