stable and sturdy, overall in great condition, retaining a nice even surface and wonderful figuring to wood grain; the top 1/2 inch of one side cornice has likely been replaced; the right-facing door has a later wood brace / batten installed to the backside to prevent shrinkage / warping of figured panel; the left-facing door has a patch along edge toward bottom; the drawers are clean and glide easily, some drawer faces with patches or replaced wood segments along edge; retains original brass hardware; the back two and front right-facing foot facings have repaired breaks; the blocking to underside of feet appears to be ok; the blind fretwork with some minor occasional losses and repairs, but overall remains intact; the prospect door has a removable compartment with three drawers, revealing three hidden drawers behind- the hidden drawers missing their original leather pulls, and one drawer with later leather pull, one dust board to hidden drawer appears to be replaced; includes two keys, both function
