stable and sturdy, overall in nice condition; refinished, but with even surface throughout, retaining a rich color and wonderful figuring to wood grain; the top is two board, and exhibits some minor occasional age cracks along edges; the top drawer has a replaced wood segment along upper part of back panel; some minor occasional old loss to cockbeading; the dustboard under top-most drawer with one nail reinforcement above stile; with replaced brass hardware, the holes from previous hardware have been plugged and filled; feet appear to be ok, with old blocking, and some likely tightened or secured joints, particularly to back two feet and support blocks, the back two support blocks also with probable mended repairs; the back left-facing and two right-most facing feet with mended breaks, the left side of front left-facing foot with small area of fill; the feet with some minor occasional scuffing commensurate with age and use; includes one key, which functions on top-most drawer lock
