Appearing in overall sturdy and attractive condition. The sabot from the front proper left foot is detached, but present and could be reattached. There is an age split running horizontally across the width of the top and several others on the sides of the case. The top with sun-fading. Sections of patches and fill in the veneer. The marquetry on the top has been touched-up. Gilding is rubbed on the mounts. The lock on the top drawer has been removed. There is no key. The drawers somewhat stick when opening and closing.
