No place, 1956. Square 4to. Comprising 16 sheets of multi-colored plastic and white card sheets, each with hand-cut squares in varying sizes and configurations. In black spiral bound card binder, front board with autograph card, signed by Roth: "Dieter Rot: Picture-Book 1956 Restauration: phil. 1964. Dieter Rot"; wear along joints, small loss at head of spine, small abrasion in lower left of front board from now removed label; blank label on inner front board; rear blank leaf loose; in archival box.

An early and unique artist's book by Swiss artist Dieter Roth. In 16 multi-colored plastic and card sheets, Roth experiments with hand-cut squares in varying sizes and configurations, building a optically complex and layered Constructivist-style work.
