One of the pioneering works on the use of tobacco, tea, coffee, and chocolate, and one of the first to warn against tobacco abuse. In 1746 the work was translated into English for the first time by "Dr. James" as A Treatise on Tobacco, Tea, Coffee, and Chocolate.
