Minor deposits of surface dirt and dust; the artwork was recently conserved, which included reinforcing the lower corner margins with polyester strips; the canvas overall is unlined; slight buckling to the upper corners; the recent conservation addressed a partial puncture in the center, above the woman's torso, as well as a small pinhole puncture near the center left edge, with both areas fluorescing under UV light; older areas of inpainting are scattered through the background; three small scuff marks along the center right edge, as well as a small area of scuffing in the upper center. Under UV light: the older inpainting in the background is somewhat visible; spots of inpainting throughout the woman's body and face, as well as in the drapery; lines of inpainting in scattered areas along the edges.
