Appearing in overall good, stable, and ready to place condition. The case having splits and a few minor sections of loss to the veneer. The top surface of the lower case with an uneven finish likely due to contact with humidity. There is a key which opens the upper glazed doors. The writing surface opens but the lower three drawers are locked shut and there is no key. There is a tooled leather writing surface which is intact. One drawer on the proper right interior has a detached pull. The pull is present and could possibly re-attached. There is one loose pull on the proper left interior drawer. The upper portion of the cabinet is lined with moire silk. The pulls are replacements as is the lock in the upper case. There are old upholstery nail sights on the interior of the upper case doors. The glass of the upper case doors is intact and shows age, but is possibly an old replacement. The molding between the upper and lower stages of the cabinet is replaced. The proper left front foot with a patch. Additional images are available upon request.
