Moderate deposits of surface dirt and dust; canvas is unlined; stretcher bar marks around the image perimeter; craquelures throughout the sky; one pinpoint paint loss in the center; stretcher keys were previously trapped between the stretcher and the canvas verso, the keys are now removed but have caused the canvas to bulge outward. Under UV light: a line of inpainting extending along the right edge within the sky; one small spot of inpainting in the upper left corner, above the tree. Additional images available upon request.
