Moderate deposits of surface dirt and dust; canvas is wax-lined; network of craquelures throughout, with visible inpainting in the upper left and in the raft's sail; two small areas of inpainting in the upper center of the sky, visible under normal viewing conditions. Under UV light: the aforementioned areas of inpainting fluoresce, as well as additional smaller spots of inpainting scattered throughout the sky; strokes of inpainting to the trees in the right side; dots and lines of inpainting scattered throughout the lower half; one 1 x 1 inch area of inpainting to the lower left corner.
