Minor deposits of surface dirt and dust; canvas is lined and margins trimmed; passages of the canvas have been pressed due to the lining process; minor frame abrasions along the right and left edges; localized craquelures in the horse's back and in the girl's apron. Under UV light: lines of inpainting to address craquelures in the door above the horse's rear flank; inpainting to the fore and rear lower legs of the horse, as well as a few small spots of inpainting in its neck, with possible strengthening to the browns throughout its body; a small area of inpainting to the right of the horse's forelegs; a few minor strokes of inpainting below the man's left arm; an area of inpainting along the outer edge of the girl's right arm, as well as strokes of inpainting to the craquelures in her apron; several minor strokes of inpainting in the dog's body; possible small areas of inpainting scattered along the center and lower left edge.
