Moderate to heavy deposits of surface dirt and dust; canvas is relined with evidence of liquid stain residue droplets along the right half; a network of craquelures throughout; one small paint loss each in the upper right and lower right corners; the upper left corner is buckled, with an associated pinpoint paint loss; inpainting to previous craquelures visible under normal viewing conditions in the water of the lower left corner; under a yellowed and grimy varnish. Under UV light: large areas of inpainting in the upper right and left corners, as well as additional smaller areas of inpainting along the upper edge; strokes and small spots of painting throughout the sky and water; two small spots of inpainting in the lower right corner; liquid residue droplets fluoresce but do not appear to be inpainting.
