Moderate deposits of surface dirt and dust; canvas is relined and margins are trimmed; network of craquelures throughout; inpainting visible along the right, left, and upper edges, primarily visible only under strong light; small paint losses scattered in areas along the extreme edges; a small gouge to the stretcher, accompanied by paint losses, along the extreme lower center edge. Under UV light; the aforementioned older areas of inpainting fluoresce along the edges, as well as new areas of inpainting scattered along the right, left, and upper edges; inpainting in scattered areas to the craquelures in the left quadrant, primarily within the cliff face and ground, with a few strokes in the pants of the man holding barrels under his arms; instances of inpainting to the craquelures in the lower right corner, within the water; possible overcleaning to the boat sail in the center right.
