Minor deposits of surface dirt and dust; canvas is relined; a patch repair to the upper center, in the mountains above the villa, accompanied by an approximately 2 x 2 inch area of inpainting on the recto; a network of hairline craquelures throughout, primarily only visible under raking light; instances of small areas of overcleaning in scattered areas; two thin abrasion to the varnish in the upper right of the sky; a thin, vertical line of inpainting extending along the center right edge, approximately 5 inches in length and visible under normal viewing conditions. Under UV light: the aforementioned line of inpainting fluoresces, as does the area corresponding to the patch repair in the upper center; several small dots of inpainting within the upper left of the sky; possible older inpainting in area of the sky.
