The canvas has an old lining. There is very little craquelure throughout, just a flat, vertical stretcher bar mark along the right edge. The varnish is slightly yellowed and dusty in the lighter impasto, and would benefit for a light cleaning. Under UV light: this painting has had very little restoration work done, except for a thin line of inpainting at upper right and an area of inpainting on the nearby cloud at upper right; there are a few other scattered spots in the lower quadrant. The varnish is quite transparent. Additional images available upon request.
