The drawing is in good overall condition. The paper is taped to the mat in two places at the top verso. The paper is toned and there is some evidence of mat staining (only when the mat is lifted up). A few tiny pinholes are evident at the corners and there is a very minor stain at top right, outside of the drawn margins and near the top outer edge. There is a pinpoint spot of foxing at bottom left, just above the horizontal line. Very light rubbing at center, to the left of the woman's profile just above the horizon line. A soft handling crease runs diagonally across the width of the paper at center (mostly visible verso, under raking light). There is evidence of previous adhesive and a few light surface scratches verso. Additional images available upon request.
