Publisher's green cloth-covered boards, decorated in blind, lettered in gilt, rebacked with portions of original spine laid down, boards rubbed and soiled, extremities rubbed; yellow endpapers; gilt morocco armorial book-plate of Robert Hoe on front paste-down; front and rear hinges reinforced; Hoe's son, Arthur Hoe's book-plate on front free endpaper; offsetting on title-page; text partially unopened.
