Broadside announces the Friday, April 14th 1865 performance of Our American Cousin at Ford's Theatre, to be attended by President Abraham Lincoln. Accompanied by typewritten letter from the Library of Congress Rare Book Division Chief identifying this piece as a "spurious playbill," and 2 photocopied pages from a resource on Ford's Theatre playbills detailing why this example is not, in fact, an authentic example of a playbill handed out at Ford's Theatre on the night of the assassination.
