both with nicely gilded surfaces, with some crackling and patination expected with age; one bracket: with later wall brackets, showing evidence of former wall brackets to back, the top of scrolled appears to be reinforced with glue to the shelf, the bottom leaf with repaired break, the backside having an old wood brace installed for support, with some minor occasional flaking / loss to gilding; other bracket: the scroll is affixed to top shelf via screws, visible along top of shelf surface, but old screws / not new, the bottom of scroll and bottom leaf appear to be replaced, possibly made from a plaster cast to match the other shelf after having former losses, with overpainting / gilding evident, the rosettes on either also with some replaced petals, with overpainting / gilding evident, with some chips / losses and some cracking to gilding and gesso, particularly to front of scroll
