with a polished or refinished surface; the top and drop leaves exhibiting some dark stains and surface heat or moisture transfer which appears whitish, one end of top with age crack, three corners of drop leaves with losses at ends, and one end to drop leaf with rectangular patch, patch over one of the hinges, and some patches to interior frame (under drop leaves); the drawer glides easily, the interior has been stained, with some loss to cockbeading along front bottom edge, the inside with two pieces of broken detached elements, the back of drawer with old faint chalk marks; the rear of table with faux drawer front; the brasses appear to be original or period, the bail handle to the faux drawer front bearing different screws that the functioning drawer; the legs with some scuffs and scrapes along edges commensurate with age and use; the leg to left of functioning drawer with evidence of having been reinforced / reattached to rail with glue and nails, with a small patch visible; the underside with replaced glue block supports
