mostly bright and clean, a few pieces with some areas of mild pitting or oxidation, particularly to one area to lower edge of coffeepot and to spout of teapot, the tray in particular with pitting and scratches commensurate with use; with some minor occasional scratches, but the covered sugar with a few noticeable scratches to lid finial and upper part, some expected scratches to underside rims of pieces; the coffeepot lid with a few noted dark surface splotches or irregularities, possibly oxidation
