The desk is structurally sound. The wood surfaces are sun-faded and have scattered nicks and scratches overall. The drawers have some old ink stains in the bottoms as well as cracks to bases; some have dividers as well. The gilt-tooled green leather top is evenly faded overall with some scattered minor scratches consistent with age and use. The desk has three keys that are secured on the inside reverse of two drawers.
The kneehole aperture is height 23 x width 20 x depth 24 1/2 inches.
