with Greek inscription: "Nicetes, servant of Italicus son of Julius, prepared this monument for himself and for his wife, Elpis, and for his children, and for Philodoxus, my cousin. To no one else shall it be allowed to bury another, otherwise the one who buried will pay 250 denarii to Athens for Goddesses".
