The pair present nicely and are sturdy. There are age-related cracks to the wood case from shrinkage over time, and the faux-painted wood tops are slightly warped but stable and do not wobble on the cases. There are a few unobtrusive scuffs to the feet.
There is inpainting to select areas of each cabinet. The left cabinet in the published photograph has extensive inpainting to the front, and the cracks throughout the wood case have been filled and inpainted. There appear to have been some losses throughout the painted surface that have been inpainted as well. The right cabinet has less inpainting but there are a few areas that appear to have been touched up over time.
The doors are latched on the interior with modern hardware that is not visible from the exterior. Please see the images for more information.
