The item is sturdy and presents well overall. It is in good condition for age and use. The top has an age-related crack to the wood and various losses to the finish. The case has age-related cracks to the sides, inactive worm holes and small losses to select areas of the finish. The collage elements are lifting in a few unobtrusive areas. The finish on the wrought iron hardware is corroded but stable. The drawers are difficult to pull.
