Appearing in overall fairly good, stable, and ready to place condition. Scattered rubbing to the gilt decoration throughout. One of the plates with the red and gilt decorated border with a network of hairline cracks to the center and adhesive residue. Another example with a chip to the foot rim. Serving platter with heavy rubbing to the gilt decoration at the center and a chip to the foot rim. Surface dust; would benefit from cleaning prior to use.

The plates are variously marked. The gilt and red border examples marked for Sevres on the back with the crowned 'N' and date mark for 1867. The examples with the gilt border and crowned 'N' at center marked for Sevres with crowned 'N' on back and date marks 1855, 1868, 1869 and 1870; some examples also bearing the mark for Chateau des Tuileries. The serving platter also with the Chateau des Tuileries mark and LP monogram.

The cobalt and gilt decorated examples marked with apparently spurious marks at the back. The entree bowl marked indiscernibly.
