Minor deposits of surface dirt and dust; canvas is lined and on non-original stretchers; passages of the canvas are pressed due to the lining process; artwork has been treated in the recent past for what appears to be inpainting, per a conservation label on the verso; areas of overcleaning visible in scattered areas throughout; small spots of inpainting visible under normal viewing conditions in scattered areas. Under UV light: small spots and strokes of inpainting scattered throughout, with a series of larger round spots along the lower center and lower right edge, including an area of possible hole repair, in the lower center of the floor, no greater in radius than 2 inches.
