Minor deposits of surface dirt and dust; very fine, vertical hairline craquelures throughout, only visible under very strong, raking light; areas of inpainting visible under strong light throughout the ceiling and walls in the upper half of the composition, as well as around the heads of the two women, but not their faces, and small spots of inpainting visible only under strong light scattered through the background; under a highly reflective varnish. Under UV light: the aforementioned areas of inpainting fluoresce. Additional images available upon request.
