Minor deposits of surface dirt and dust; canvas is not lined; there is a recent expertly repaired horizontal tear in the lower left corner, approximately 2 inches in length; a horizontal ridge extending along the majority of the upper edge; one shallow concave distortion to canvas along upper left edge, as well as a slight buckling to the canvas in the lower left corner. Under UV light: area of tear repair fluoresces from inpainting in the lower left corner; some fluorescing within the horizontal ridge extending along the upper edge; an area of inpainting through the calves of the woman and extending some into the background; areas of inpainting scattered along the lower edge.
