Framed: 21 1/8 x 18 inches.
The canvas is very rigidly lined. There is fine craquelure throughout the entire canvas that is not completely flat. The paint surface is stable but with raised craquelure in the background. A vertical crease in canvas is visible in the right half, to the right of the boy's face. Under UV light: not much inpainting is visible anymore, except for very fine touches on the boy's face and larger spots at lower right. Additional images available upon request.
