Oblong 12mo (114 x 152 mm). Engraved vignette on title-page, engraved dedicatory arms on verso, engraved view of the Escorial, 125 engraved maps (7 unnumbered). (A few small stains to title-page and a couple of leaves.) Early 20th century olive sheep gilt, spine in 5 compartments with 4 raised bands, gilt-lettering in 2, top edge stained red (joints splitting, extremities a bit worn). Provenance: Monsieur Ignancourt (contemporary signature on title-page); Raul de Almeida (bookseller's ticket).
