Framed: 63 1/2 x 50 1/2 x 4 1/2 inches.
Moderate deposits of surface dirt and dust; canvas is strip lined and buckled in the corners; network of craquelures throughout surface, with several instances of pinpoint paint losses; two horizontal lines of gold paint deposit along the upper edge from the frame; paint surface exhibits a "bubbled" appearance in scattered areas; under a highly reflective varnish. Under UV light: small spots of inpainting within the woman's neck, as well as an area of possible older inpainting in her forehead; one small area of inpainting along the left edge of her bodice; additional instances of small spots of inpainting scattered through the background.
