.36 Cal. 7.5" barrel length. SN: D64991. Blued and casehardened finish with brass gripstraps, engraved barrel and frame, and one piece white synthetic Eagle grips. Single action six-shot percussion revolver featuring conical brass front bead and hammer rear notch sights. Standard Armi San Marco manufacturer markings to the lower barrel, Italian black powder firing proofs, and Ormsby's Naval Engagement scene roll engraved to the cylinder. The frame and rear barrel feature spiral scroll engraving with beaded grounds and light embellishments to the upper barrel flats and muzzle. Comes in original cardboard box. {ANTIQUE}

Very Good. Bore is dirty with some dust and grease that should clean to Bright or better with sharp rifling. Metal finish shows some brown flecking to the forward edges of the cylinder, and at right muzzle. Case colors remain strong. Some patina forming in knurling on hammer spur. Further spots to right edge of the hammer recess. Grips with some light scratches to the edge of the butt. Action shows good timing. Box has only light scuffs and abrasions overall.

He is a member of the American Society of Arms Collectors and currently serves on the board of directors of that organization. He is also a member of and formerly served on the board of directors of the Society of American Bayonet Collectors. Tim is a life member of the Ohio Valley Military Society, the Tennessee Military Collectors Association, the Alabama Military Collectors Association, is a member of the Company of Military Historians and is a member of numerous other colleting groups and societies. He is the owner of College Hill Arsenal, a web based antique and collectible arms retail web site, specializing in the American Civil War and related military items. Tim has engaged in the business of buying, selling, researching, and appraising antique and collectible arms and associated military items for some three decades. Since 2016 he has also served as a senior Consulting Specialist in the field of Arms, Armor & Militaria for Cowan’s Auctions, a Freeman's Company.
