1.) .44 cal. 8" barrel length. SN: P114173. Blued barrel and cylinder with case colored frame and brass trigger guard mounting wood grip. Single action percussion revolver with six chambered cylinder, hammer nose notch, and front blade sight. Cylinder features engraving of naval scene with F.LLI PIETTA-MADE IN ITALY on right of barrel. {ANTIQUE}

2.) .44 cal. 8" barrel length. SN: 40002. Case colored frame and loading lever with blued barrel and cylinder fitted with brass trigger guard and wood grip. Single action percussion revolver with six chambered fluted cylinder, hammer nose notch, and front blade sight. Cylinder features engraving of naval scene. Barrel struck RICHLAND-ARMS-CO.BLISSFIELD MICHIGAN on right and ASM-BLACK POWDER ONLY-MADE IN ITALY on underside. {ANTIQUE}

Item includes black powder flask with panoply of arms decoration, .44 caliber bullet molds, and spare .44 caliber unfluted cylinder with naval scene engraving. Items are stored in wood presentation case with red velvet lining.

This lot is located in Cincinnati.

1.) Good. Bore is frosty. Barrel shows minor flecking along top and brass trigger guard shows pinpoint flecking. Shows good timing.

2.) Good. Bore is dirty, may clean to bright. Blued finish on barrel shows scuffs along top. Some pinpoint flecking in loading lever. Brass shows tarnish. Shows good timing.

Case is overall good, with some light scratches on the top of the lid and indentations from the cylinders of the firearms.

Tim is a life member of the Ohio Valley Military Society, the Tennessee Military Collectors Association, the Alabama Military Collectors Association, is a member of the Company of Military Historians and is a member of numerous other colleting groups and societies. He is the owner of College Hill Arsenal, a web based antique and collectible arms retail web site, specializing in the American Civil War and related military items. Tim has engaged in the business of buying, selling, researching, and appraising antique and collectible arms and associated military items for some three decades. Since 2016 he has also served as a senior Consulting Specialist in the field of Arms, Armor & Militaria for Cowan’s Auctions, a Freeman's Company.
