Browned Damascus steel barrels with casehardened frame and blued small parts mounting Walnut round knob semi-pistol grip stock and splinter forend, both featuring bordered multipoint checkering. Double barrel side by side sidelock ejector shotgun mounting a single bead front sight on a matted barrel rib. Maker markings on the sideplates are engraved and read W.&C. SCOTT & SON. Barrel markings read W.&C. SCOTT & SON The Premier 10. GT CASTLE STREET/REGENT CIRCUS LONDON ENGLAND. Dollshead features English spiral scroll enclosing SCOTT'S/IMPROVED/BOLT marking. Patent markings include PAT GAS CHECK/Nr 6565 on the standing breech with watertables showing PAT-9585-84/Nr 122 and The Premier Gun/W.&C. SCOTT & SON/MAKERS. Shotgun is richly engraved with English spiral scroll enclosing banknote vignettes on the sideplates and lower frame. These vignettes depict game birds in flight and on the ground, and include ducks, quail, and woodcock. Shotgun features a tang safety with relief engraved SAFE marking, and mounts a gold plated escutcheon on the upper wrist bearing the marking HPS/1911. Item comes in a modern leather bound wood travel case with a bore mop, chamber brush, jag, oiler, and snap caps. Lacks key.
