Very Good to Fine. Good bore is fairly dark with decent rifling showing scattered light to moderate pitting. Barrel with strong traces of thinned blue mixing with a moderately oxidized blue-gray patina and showing some lightly scattered surface oxidation and discoloration. Metal mostly smooth with clear markings. Lock and breech lever with dull traces of case faded case colors present. Mechanically functional action. Brass furniture with an attractive rich golden patina. Stock crisp with some scattered bumps, dings and mars and without the usual crack in the wrist that almost always occurs on these carbines, even higher condition ones.
