Good to Very Good. Blade with a dull blue-black patina with freckled patches of surface oxidation, minor roughness and some light pitting. Blade with nicks along the edge and with the tip rounded. Blade tight in hilt with an undisturbed peen. Guard with moderate wobble. Leather grip wrap with wear, some flaking and some minor loss. Twisted wire intact, no washer is in place on the face of the guard. Scabbard good to very good with moderate oxidation, some traces of brown finish, mixed with patina and probably some touch up brown as well. Metal with some dings and dents and some even light pitting. Brass mounts with a rich, uncleaned patina.
