Very good to fine. Leather remains pliable and useable with some of the blacking remaining on the exterior leather, showing a moderate amount of fading and loss. The undyed buff reverse side shows moderate staining and discoloration from age and use. Belt plate with a minor repair to the upper left corner where the belt loop cracked and subsequently received a brazed repair. Buckle with some gilt finish remaining. Belt is solid and sturdy with some minor separations from the thread at the lower portion of one of the frog hangers, on the reverse. A very nice example that will display well on a mannequin with a US M1832 Heavy Artillery sword and scabbard.
