Good. Bore heavily oxidized and moderately pitted. Metal with traces of old brown, mixed with an oxidized brown patina and scattered surface pitting. Lock with moderate to heavy pitting. Lock needs mechanical attention as the exterior catch on the mule ear hammer is worn down and will not reliably engage the sear, although it can be made to do so with some effort. Wood with wear and loss on the reverse butt, possibly due to fire, buttplate proud of the wood on the sides. Wood with burn out and loss around the lock and showing scattered bumps, dings and mars.
