.45 ACP. 5" barrel length. SN: 48913B70 (mfg. ca. 1980). Hard chromed finish overall with polished barrel mounting smooth ivory grips and displaying custom features typical of Armand Swenson's work. Short-recoil operated single action autoloading pistol fed by detachable single stack magazines. Original make and model markings include single-line Colt address to right frame and COLT'S GOVERNMENT MODEL to right slide. Left slide struck COLT'S MK IV/SERIES '70/GOVERNMENT MODEL/.45 AUTOMATIC CALIBER followed by {Rampant Colt} logo. Interior of slide is double stamped A.D. SWENSON. Safety lever is struck A.D. SWENSON/FALLBROOK. CALIF. Custom features include: matted upper slide with engraved edges in Swenson pattern, adjustable BO-MAR rear notch and matted front ramp sights, Commander hammer, Hoag style grip safety, ambidexterous and extended safety lever, recontoured triggerguard with checkered front, fine checkering to forward gripstrap, recontoured and narrowed arched mainspring housing with custom checkering, beveled magazine well, BAR STO barrel, recontoured and hand checkered adjustable trigger, custom fitted barrel bushing, and standard GI style springs. {MODERN}
