Double action factory cartridge conversion of a percussion pocket pistol with two-piece factory five chambered, un-fluted cylinder, frame notch rear sight and German silver cone front sight. Two-line barrel address reads: MANUFACTURED BY REMINGTONS' ILION N.Y./RIDER'S PT. AUG. 17, 1858. MAY 3, 1859. Frame and interior of grips serial numbered 7178, bottom of barrel mismatched and numbered 8077. Rear face of cylinder and cylinder back plate with assembly number 570.
